Background And Experience

“Growing up on a dairy farm with other ventures, my family was all about exploring new opportunities. My parents instilled a boots-on-the-ground mentality, emphasizing involvement in every aspect of the business. My dad’s mottos were asking ‘Why not?’ and ‘What will set you apart?’. A civil engineer by training, I could always turn to him for build-out questions. My mom was my go-to for financial advice. These experiences shaped me in more ways than I can count.”

 

What Inspired You to Become an Entrepreneur?

“As I continued in my profession as a Doctor of Occupational Therapy, I found myself drawn to the idea of starting something of my own. My career taught me to be a problem-solver and the importance of authentic relationships, and that mindset perfectly aligned with entrepreneurship. This approach was crucial, especially in connecting with employees and understanding store operations. Working the front bar regularly helped me understand every role and how the store flows.”

 

Why FACE FOUNDRIÉ? What Aspects of the Brand and Franchise System Attracted You Initially and Solidified Your Belief in FACE FOUNDRIÉ?

“In 2019, I became a client at the first FACE FOUNDRIÉ before they began franchising. I couldn’t find a facial for less than $100 anywhere else, and I was drawn to the unique modern concept. The warm, passionate corporate team and the welcoming vibe of the store made me feel like I was part of something special.

“You can make the franchisee route look a lot of different ways for you. I was drawn to FACE FOUNDRIÉ not just as a business opportunity but as a chance for personal growth. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me so much about leadership and teamwork.”

“Since opening our Colorado location, every milestone has been incredibly rewarding. From the excitement of our grand opening to watching our staff grow and succeed, celebrating their hard work has been a joy. Networking and community engagement have played an important role in our success, allowing us to connect with local businesses and build a strong presence in the community.”

 

How Do You Stay Motivated and Inspired to Continue Growing Your Business, and What Keeps You Passionate About the Skincare Industry?

“I feel there are limitless opportunities for our store to find new ways to be of service to and connect with local residents. Social media, education from our local skincare brand reps, and a developing city keep me excited about the possibilities for growth. Being a skincare science lover, I am passionate about sharing affordable and effective services and helping others feel confident in their skin. Staying motivated in the skincare industry is easy when there’s so much innovation and inspiration, which FACE FOUNDRIÉ is on the forefront of.”

 

What Advice Would You Give to Other Entrepreneurs Looking to Open a Franchise?

“Your passion and excitement are a great compass and will take you a long way to persevere through challenges. Connecting with other franchisees is crucial, as they’ve been a huge support to me. It’s important to ask all the questions and be involved, especially during the build-out and early phases. The ability to be proactive is a gift to which the experts at corporate assist with. My role involves frequently asking myself what systems we can improve and problem-solving. Every day brings something new, and I’m constantly grateful for the opportunity to be learning from the greats and growing with them.”
