“Growing up on a dairy farm with other ventures, my family was all about exploring new opportunities. “As I continued in my profession as a Doctor of Occupational Therapy, I found myself drawn to the idea of starting something of my own. My career taught me to be a problem-solver and the importance of authentic relationships, and that mindset perfectly aligned with entrepreneurship. This approach was crucial, especially in connecting with employees and understanding store operations. Working the front bar regularly helped me understand every role and how the store flows.”

“I feel there are limitless opportunities for our store to find new ways to be of service to and connect with local residents. Social media, education from our local skincare brand reps, and a developing city keep me excited about the possibilities for growth. Being a skincare science lover, I am passionate about sharing affordable and effective services and helping others feel confident in their skin. What Advice Would You Give to Other Entrepreneurs Looking to Open a Franchise?
“Your passion and excitement are a great compass and will take you a long way to persevere through challenges. Connecting with other franchisees is crucial, as they’ve been a huge support to me. It’s important to ask all the questions and be involved, especially during the build-out and early phases. The ability to be proactive is a gift to which the experts at corporate assist with. My role involves frequently asking myself what systems we can improve and problem-solving. Every day brings something new, and I’m constantly grateful for the opportunity to be learning from the greats and growing with them.”
